Steve Williamson

Steve Williamson is an instructor in the CFP Certificate Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

Steve is also a retired Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisor, and founding partner in Mannen, Williamson, Rohr & Swartwelder, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial.  Steve has advised individuals and families in financial planning, investment management, estate planning and wealth preservation for over 15 years. He has served as a board member of the Central Virginia Chapter of the Financial Planning Association. Prior to his career as a financial advisor, he held several corporate positions including CFO of a furniture manufacturer, and director of Financial Planning and Analysis of a major division of an automotive parts supplier.  Steve achieved his Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) designation in 1993; and holds an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University, and a B S in Finance from Virginia Tech.
