Scott Culbreth

Scott Culbreth serves as the president and chief executive officer for American Woodmark. He joined the company in 2014 as the senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was promoted to CEO and joined the Board of Directors in 2020. American Woodmark Corporation manufactures and distributes kitchen, bath and home organization products for the remodeling and new home construction markets.  The company generated $1.7B in revenue for it's most recent fiscal year and had approximately 10,000 employees across 17 manufacturing locations and 9 primary service centers.

Scott received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He began his career with Shell Oil Company and developed his international operational skills with Robert Bosch Corporation, Newell Brands and Piedmont Hardware Brands, where he held various financial roles with increasing responsibility. 

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Scott and his wife live in Winchester, Virginia. They enjoy visiting their two daughters, hiking, traveling and attending Virginia Tech Hokie and Carolina Panther football games.
