Mark Moore

Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Formation, M&A Advisor Greater Washington DC - Baltimore
advisory board member

Mark’s career began in 1985 and has centered in and around commercial and investment banking activities in the Greater DC region. Areas of concentration have featured commercial banking, government contracting, technology sectors, investment banking, non-bank financings such as ABL/leasing/commercial finance, and private equity activities.

Mark’s most recent commercial banking experiences have included serving in roles such as Chief Lending Officer/EVP at John Marshall Bank, President and Board Member at Access National Bank, Regional President Greater DC/Balt at Atlantic Union Bank, and Division Executive of Corporate and Institutional Banking at Sandy Spring Bank.

In 2024 Mark pivoted away from years of commercial bank management and sales roles and has embraced the changing dynamics and opportunities prevalent in today’s market within the “non-bank” lending and financial solutions sectors.

As such, Mark joined the finance group of ePlus inc. (PLUS, Nasdaq listed) - a leading provider of technology and financing solutions. ePlus is based in Northern VA and operates in all 50 states as well as internationally. Mark is enjoying his business development and strategic partnership roles, and concentrates on middle market enterprises, financial institutional partners, and developing creative funding options and opportunities.

Mark is a proud native and sports enthusiast of Pittsburgh, PA and has resided in Northern VA since graduating VT in 1985 (along with his then-sweetheart and engaged Hokie alumna, Julie Yozzo Moore, who is also VT/Finance 1985). Mark and Julie especially enjoy their family time with children and grandchildren, and whenever possible – living the salt life!
