Trish Cox

Trish Cox serves as WellCare’s chief operating officer and senior vice president of population health services (PHS). In this role, she is responsible for WellCare’s PHS operations including clinical and business performance, medical management, and clinical systems and reporting.

Trish has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and financial services. Prior to joining WellCare in 2019, she served as senior vice president of service experience with Anthem, Inc. where she led the company’s service experience across all lines of business, including commercial, Medicare and Medicaid, and oversaw enrollment, billing, member call centers, provider call centers, grievances and appeals, insights and analytics, associate experience and business transformation functions.

Previously, Trish spent 15 years with Charles Schwab where she held leadership roles of increasing responsibility in retirement plan services, investor services, advisor services, and finally, ending her time with the company as senior vice president and general manager of corporate brokerage services.

Trish earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech). She also completed the General Manager Program through Harvard Business School at Harvard University.
