I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with a degree in Finance and a minor in International Business from the Pamplin College of Business. While in school, I was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. I also played on the Club Ice Hockey team, where I served as the clubs Treasurer for two years and Co-President during my senior year.
After graduation, I accepted a job in Hilton’s Management Development Program at the Palmer House in Chicago, IL where I learned the operational and financial side of the hospitality industry. During my first 7 years with Hilton, I’ve held the roles of Accounting Manager, Chief Accountant, and Assistant Director of Finance at various Hilton hotels throughout the country. Now, in my current role with Hilton, I am the Director of Finance at the Waldorf Astoria in DC, where I manage the budget, financial statements, and owner relations responsibilities for the hotel. Additionally, I have been involved in recruiting and mentoring new cohorts of Hilton’s Management Development Program.
In my spare time I enjoy playing and watching hockey, golfing and football weekends cheering on the Hokies! In addition to joining the Finance Advisory board, I have also been an active board member for the HTM program for the last two years. I look forward to the opportunity to meet the current board members and current Hokies this week. I truly hope I can help make impact on the next generation of Virginia Tech graduates.
