Jeffrey Heinz

Jeff Heinz is the former Vice President of Investor Relations at TEGNA Inc. (formerly known as Gannett Co., Inc.). He joined Gannett in October 2003 as Director, Investor Relations. Prior to joining Gannett, he was the Managing Director, Investor Relations with SLM Corporation (Sallie Mae), where he was the primary contact with the investment community. He worked in various finance and marketing positions during his 19-year career at Sallie Mae.

He has a bachelor of science in finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Heinz and his wife, Sharon, have two children and live in Vienna, Virginia.
