Markus Lithell

Biography

Dr. Lithell's research interests are in empirical corporate finance, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and the relationship between public and private sources of financing. His research has been published in prominent peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and presented at major conferences like the Society for Financial Studies (SFS) Cavalcade and the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS) Conference. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Dr. Lithell was a postdoc at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
