Trang Vu

Biography

Dr. Vu’s research lies at the intersection of corporate finance and financial intermediation, with a focus on banking, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and bankruptcy. Her work explores how firms navigate capital raising in contexts shaped by informational frictions and the strategic behavior of financial intermediaries. Dr. Vu’s research has been presented at major conferences, including the American Finance Association (AFA) Annual Meeting and the Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Meeting. She earned her PhD in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), during which she completed a Visiting Scholar appointment at Boston College.
