Biography

K. Mike Fleenor, Jr. is currently a Circuit Court Judge presiding in Montgomery and Floyd Counties. In that capacity he hears a variety of civil actions, domestic relations and major criminal trials. Often these disputes are heard by juries or as bench trials decided by the judge. Prior to his elevation to the bench, Judge Fleenor was the elected Commonwealth's Attorney for Pulaski County where he was the chief law enforcement officer. He prosecuted over 20 homicide cases and numerous other violent crimes including robbery, malicious wounding, rape and other sex offenses. Before his election as Commonwealth's Attorney, he was a partner in the law firm of Crowell, Nuckols, Layman & Aust where he had a general civil and criminal practice. He holds a J.D. from Mississippi College and is a proud alumnus of Virginia Tech.
