Teaching Experience:

Prof. Ye has extensive teaching experiences and has taught courses at undergraduate, master and Ph.D. levels, including Equity Securities, Fixed Income Securities, Investments, Trading and Investing, among many others. He also taught two doctoral seminars, one on the Asset Pricing, and one on the Institutional Investors. He received the Student Award in 2014 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for outstanding teaching.

Research:

Prof. Ye focuses on two research areas. The first branch of his research investigates the roles of institutional investors in capital markets and corporate decision-making. The second one examines the managerial labor market and executive incentives. In addition, he also conducts empirical research in various corporate finance topics, including mergers and acquisitions (M&As), corporate debts, corporate innovation and so on. His papers have been presented in many selective academic conferences and published in various premier journals including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA) and the Journal of Financial Economics (JFE).

Professional Achievements:

Dr. Ye is the member of the American Finance Association, American Economic Association, Western Finance Association and Financial Management Association.
